I have Speed Download set to auto-update, which is fine but after the last update it started asking for my registration details, after trying several times to enter in my serial number I checked the website. Version 5 is now out, and it isnβt a free update for version 4 users, but the auto-update installed it anyway without asking.
This is bad form, if you are going to make version 5 a paid update at least ask me before you install it, instead of leaving me with a registration box every time I click on a zip file in Safari. You can re-download version 4 from the site and it is an upgrade I would pay for anyway, but it would be polite to ask first
